Walk through a living botanical paradise inside the UNESCO World Heritage Valley of Flowers National Park. In full monsoon bloom, over 500 varieties of wild Himalayan wildflowers paint the river valley in vibrant colors. Combined with a pilgrimage climb to the high-altitude glacial lake and gurudwara of Hemkund Sahib at 15,200 ft.

Detailed Expedition Itinerary
Rishikesh to Govindghat / Joshimath Drive
Drive 10 hours along the Alaknanda river via Devprayag, Rudraprayag, and Karnaprayag.
Govindghat to Ghangaria Trek (9,600 ft / 14 km)
Trek along the roaring Pushpawati river to Ghangaria basecamp.
Ghangaria to Valley of Flowers (12,500 ft / 8 km return)
Enter the UNESCO core zone; explore carpeted flower valleys and Pushpawati river bed.
Ghangaria to Hemkund Sahib (15,200 ft / 12 km return)
Steep scenic climb to the glacial Hemkund lake and holy Gurudwara.
Ghangaria to Govindghat & Drive to Joshimath
Descend to Govindghat and transfer to Joshimath hotel.
Joshimath to Rishikesh Departure
Return drive to Rishikesh arriving by evening.
